As a "vulnerability whore"
I learn to embrace and celebrate my vulnerability as a strength. I am open, authentic, and unapologetically embrace my own vulnerabilities, and encourage others to do the same. By being transparent about my struggles, emotions, and imperfections I foster connection, empathy, and personal growth.

Words carry histories, power, and reclamation.
The name Vulnerability Whore is an intentional choice—one that embraces radical openness, deep emotional intimacy, and the courage to lean fully into human connection. We recognize that "whore" is a word with a painful legacy, weaponized against sex workers and those who challenge societal norms around sexuality and autonomy. It is also a word that many sex workers have reclaimed as a badge of power, resistance, and solidarity. Vulnerability Whore does not seek to co-opt or erase that history but rather acknowledges the radical wisdom of those who have long lived at the intersections of intimacy, labor, and marginalization. We stand in support of sex workers and their right to safety, dignity, and decriminalization. Their work, advocacy, and lived experiences have deeply shaped conversations around consent, boundaries, and the commodification of care—conversations that resonate with the work we do here. If you are a sex worker and feel that this name misrepresents or harms, we invite dialogue. We believe in the power of language and the importance of reflection, and we remain open to evolving how we hold this space.

Facilitators

Julian

Julian (he/him) initially followed an academic route that culminated in a PhD in physics (with a focus in biophysics and neuroscience), over a dozen peer-reviewed publications, and the founding of an AI art authentication company. Since taking a transformative course on the Wheel of Consent, he has redirected his focus towards the power of vulnerability. Bringing the same critical awareness and conscientious work ethic from academia, Julian now applies his skills to interpersonal, self-reflective, and somatic work. His training in professional cuddling, psilocybin facilitation, and meditation uniquely equips him to cultivate meaningful connections and support others on journeys of self-discovery and personal growth, helping them tap into their wants and access their limits.

Annabelle

Annabelle (she/her) is a Sex Therapist, Social Worker and yoga/mindfulness instructor. Annabelle seeks to find the merge between mindfulness and sex and intimacy. She works with clients who experience a variety of presenting sexual/intimacy difficulties that include trauma, and psychological/physiological concerns that affect how they experience pleasure. Annabelle loves to use somatic work to move through those processes and finds value in self-reflection and the wisdom of the body. Although Annabelle has a Masters in Clinical Social Work and Human Sexuality that are practiced in clinical settings, she finds so much joy, honor and humility in working with groups to uncover their desire and vulnerabilities.
